The Sarasota Farmers Market is thankful to participate in this year’s Giving Challenge, presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, from noon to noon on April 28-29.
As a 501c3 non-profit, The Sarasota Farmers Market Vendors Incorporated (SFMV) has a charitable mission to create a social opportunity for residents and visitors to gather and interact, to bring foot traffic to downtown Sarasota sustaining the economic viability of the entire downtown area, and to provide a venue of other not-for-profit organizations benefitting Sarasota.
Inherent in our charitable mission is educating consumers and sharing knowledge about the products and services of local farmers, local businesses, and local artisans.
Sarasota is known across the country for its generous spirit and the Giving Challenge is a prime example of how you are a part of this philanthropic community.
The SFMV thanks you for your donations, especially during this unprecedented time of Covid-19 which is presenting unique challenges on all levels to everyone, including our vendors and employees who have been greatly affected by the temporary closure of the market due to social distancing guidelines.
The Giving Challenge is a wonderful opportunity to insure the healthy re-opening of your Sarasota Farmers Market when we are given the green-light!
To strengthen giving during the 2020 Giving Challenge (April 28-29), The Patterson Foundation (TPF) will provide a 1:1 match for all unique donations, up to $100 per donor, per organization made online with a credit or debit card.
